Aim

The Journal of Animal Biology & Therapeutics is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research that advances veterinary medicine, animal science, and the health, welfare, productivity, and biological understanding of domestic, wild, aquatic, and laboratory animals. The journal provides a global platform for basic, applied, translational, and clinical research that addresses animal health, disease prevention, production systems, and the interconnections among animal, human, and environmental health.

The journal aims to advance rigorous and innovative research across all areas of veterinary science and animal studies; promote interdisciplinary integration of veterinary medicine, animal biology, animal production, nutrition, genetics, welfare, epidemiology, and public health; support the One Health and One Welfare concepts to address global health and sustainability challenges; foster emerging technologies including genomics, precision livestock farming, digital health, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and advanced diagnostic tools; accelerate the development of improved diagnostics, therapeutics, vaccines, preventive strategies, and management practices for animal diseases; encourage research in animal behavior, welfare science, ethics, and sustainable livestock and companion animal management; address global challenges related to food security, zoonotic diseases, antimicrobial resistance, climate change, biodiversity conservation, and animal production systems; and provide an inclusive international forum for veterinarians, animal scientists, researchers, clinicians, policymakers, and industry professionals worldwide.

By integrating scientific discovery, technological innovation, and practical applications, the journal aims to become a leading global resource for research that advances animal health, welfare, and sustainable animal systems.
